A convergence of intentional clichés. This movie is weirdly overrated. I don’t know what it is, but many people actually like and enjoy watching it. The movie is not awful enough to make me stop midway, but it’s simply just a bad plot with awful visuals. Most of the monsters are either a person using a rubber suit or badly rendered CGI. When I said in the beginning that it was a convergence of intentional clichés it was because they know everything they are adding in the movie. However, it’s not the worst part, actually, it’s some of the best moments of the movie. I won’t spoil anything, even though I would like to because it is not worth the watch. But basically, there is sort of a gambling going behind everything that is interesting for the most part. But what actually makes the film bad in the end? Its shallowness. The plot is forgettable along with the characters and the end is awful. I can’t say what it is, but the story takes a turn somewhere on the 75% mark that basically buries the movie that had already dug its own grave. Even though they advertise the film as a thriller or horror, it is nowhere near one. You could have put on the cover that it was a comedy and it would be better categorized. There is no mystery and no impact. Characters are not relatable, and you will leave dissatisfied. So, let me warn you one last time: don’t watch it.
